Hon Rahab Mukami

Hon. Rahab Mukami Wachira, the Women Representative for Nyeri County, is a distinguished Kenyan leader renowned for her unwavering commitment to grassroots development and community empowerment. Serving her second term under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) since August 2022, Mukami has consistently prioritized initiatives that uplift women, youth, and marginalized groups across the county.

Educational and Professional Background

Mukami’s academic journey reflects her dedication to leadership and management. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Management from St. Paul’s University (2013–2021), complemented by a Diploma in Business Administration from Zetech College (2007–2008). Further enhancing her expertise, she completed a Certificate in Emerging Economies at Harvard Business School in 2020.

Professionally, Mukami’s career spans both the private and public sectors. She served as Finance Director at Ramaca Investment (2004–2016) and held customer service roles at Alpha Motors Ltd and Associated Motors Ltd in the 1990s.
